    Beautiful!
We strolled along here late afternoon on a Sunday, just enjoying the view and the nice weather. As it got later, we realized that this is where all the locals come on Sunday evening. It was so much fun! Tons of pop-up food stands with local treats, vendors selling toys, etc. There was even a big holiday extravaganza happening with performances, etc. This is a great place to run, bike or just walk along the water.

The most scenic part of the city
I took the chance to see this part on a long layover in Panama after going to Miraflores locks so I got there almost at sunset, best time I think. It is better and easy to get there by metro. It begins at casco viejo so the nearest station is 5 de Mayo but if you already went to casco viejo can start a bit further and use St Thomas or Loteria metro stations.

    Beautiful waterfront
This waterfront is absolutely amazing! It's got a dedicated area for people to walk, ride bicycles, play basketball, and so much more. And guess what? We were actually lucky enough to be there during a national festival (carnavales) where we got to enjoy live music and mingle with the locals. Talk about a unique experience!

The place offers fantastic opportunities for exercise and provides a stunning view of the city's waterfront. However, it is imperative that immediate action is taken to address the alarming amount of trash present.

Gorgeous walk! We walked all the way from El Cangrejo to Casco Viejo along this path. The negative part is that there is no shade at all over the path, so we were baking in the sun. The good thing is there are parks along the way where you can stop and sit on benches in the shade. There are also free public bathrooms at those parks- a welcome surprise!

My kids enjoyed the couple of playgrounds that were along the path.

We were surprised that there aren't any restaurants along the path. We were hoping for somewhere to pop in to cool down and get a drink or snack, but we would have had to cross back over the busy road (using the big bridges) to go back into the city). Luckily, there are cart vendors selling cold gatorade, water, raspados, and chips.

Very nice and LONGGGG WALK.. we walked during the day and it was hot.. But we didnt mind since it was a gorgeous day. We had an amazing time taking pictures and walking observing. The environment Many locals selling things typical panamanian things. Such a nice place.. quiet. They even had wifi.

We were trying to walk to the PANAMA sign but it was quite a ways from the Seafood Market. The Mercado de Mariscos was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS.. A lot of workers try to lure you in but very friendly. They show you many pictures of their typical foods on cell Phones. We decided to go to LA PROMESA. It didnt disappoint. Delicious fish and shrimps.

We took the metro bus and it was .25 each direction.

Great time visiting Casco Antiguo also which is across the street from the Seafood Market.

Cinta Costera was AMAZING

Our last day in Panama, we decided to take a walk and crossed one of the "red bridges" as my friend called them, to walk along this roadway by the water. It was sunny and there is little shade (we left later in the morning). We walked all the way to the fish market where we had lunch and then continued to Casco Viejo for coffee.

Quite a good long walk. Also doable on bikes if you have them or want to rent them.

A bit out of the way with no pedestrian crossing point, access is hard. If you manage to get there, its excellent picnic point, viewing point and open grass area. Try to go here at sunset time as there are very few un shade areas.
If you can cross roads with kids, its worth it.
