Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area to see St. Michael's. The monument includes Princess Olga in the middle, an early ruler of the city of Kiev. On the left is St. Andrew and on the right are two men who brought the...More
The white marble monument of Princess Olga, surrounded by the Statue of St Andrew, St. Cyrill and St. Mephodius is on the Mikhailovska square. The sculptural group is just across the Archangel Michael Gold-domed cathedral. Hard to miss it, When you visiting St. Michael or...More
I would rate the Princess Olha monument less spectacular compared to the Hetman Bohdan sculpture, but since those two are located so closely next to each other, does it not hurt to walk the couple of hundred meters to catch a short glimpse of this...More

Nice monument to the patron saints of the city. Princess Olga in the middle. The 2 guys on the right are the ones to create the alphabet for the Russian/Ukrainian language. Saint Andrew is on the left looking like he's ordering a taxi

Very nice statue of very strong woman. If you know the history and you know who is this, you will diffenetly enjoy the view on this monument. The location is great, if you are visiting Kiev you will pass by anyway.
Nice statue in a nice area. Not really sure what else to say about it...worth snapping a picture or two of and if you're visiting Kiev you'll likely already be in the neighborhood...
