You would feel countryside tour here from Kiev. It is very big so go with proper footwear. Also golf carts are available on entrance for taking whole 1 hour trip.

It is interesting to see "old" Ukraine. How they lived, how they was dressed, how their life was. I do have a STRONG feeling this is a romantic and idealised version of the life.I think it was hard, dirty and deadly.

A lovely architectural museum outside of Kyiv with buildings from various areas of Kyiv. Many active displays of crafts and music, as well as a new (since my last visit) food area!

This is how the peasants lived in the past, but I was told that this also represents living in the Ukraine countryside today. Also where local couples take the wedding photos.

The museum is huge, showing the rustic and pastoral past from each of Ukraine's regions. There are many guides who can show you around and many staff members who answer questions about particular exhibits. Musicians local to the area play instruments of the region being...More
