On the outskirts of Zhuliany Airport and virtually impossible to find without taking a taxi, this is an absolute gem of a museum, with dozens of Soviet era aircraft and missiles with an opportunity to buy tickets to go inside selected ones. Staff are helpful...More

Lots of unique exhibits you won't find anywhere else. Not too far from city center. A must see for evry aviation nut.

Huge museum with many Russian rare aircraft - could be better kept - large area and lots of walking - not very convenient with few toilets and one coffee shop - no places to sit down - but worth it

The museum is very easy to reach in Kiev, I got a taxi which is not expensive and is perhaps the easiest way of getting there. If you are at the airport where it is located, you should note the museum is quite a way...More

I like airplanes, but after visiting this museum with someone who didn't like them before, I have to say it is a visit worth for everyone. The exhibits are very varied, many interesting examples from the cold war era of the eastern block. Take the...More

Yes, it is! If you love airplanes this is a must go place then! It is close to Zhulyani airport. Though snow is covering almost everything this time of the year, it was still an enjoyable visit. There is an entry fee of course, 50...More

For an extremely small entrance amount of 50uah (less than 3 $), you get a watch closely and even touch the mean machines from the past ranging from MiG to Su and IL to Tupelovs. Spread across a large open area, you can walk the...More

Spent a wonderful time here just wandering around and enjoying everything that was there. Was able to actually enter some of the 'exhibits' for a small fee payable upon entry to the museum. There is also a small fee if you wish to take photographs....More

I visited this museum in February 2018, I loved seeing all the aircraft, despite them being covered in snow. The military collection is fantastic, but I particularly enjoyed seeing the civil aircraft, such as the Antonovs, Ilyushins etc. The highlight for me was getting up...More

Fighters, bombers, airlift, and helicopters, if the Soviets flew it you can probably find it here! Civil aviation is also well represented across their sprawling expanse of land. A must do for an aviation, or military buff.

Sounds like a perfect plan. The museum is not very big though a good collection most of them are from the Soviet era. 90 minutes is not enough but yes it is possible to walk entire area and take some snaps. Most of the... More

If you just jump in a taxi you will pay a ridiculous fare (for Kyiv standards) I always find it beneficial to have a coffee in one of the many cafes and ask them to call you a taxi. It is much cheaper so you won't get ripped... More
