We visited here at sunset time, and the views across the river Dnieper were amazing. The church itself is currently being renovated on the inside (Aug 2018), so we were not permitted to enter - but on the outside, it is perhaps the most beautiful...More

When we visited I think it also has a museum part to it, but this was shut, I think possibly for renovation. It's well worth popping up the stairs here though just to stand for a few minutes in ore of the views which you...More

Definitely worth a visit to this area, it's one of the most striking churches in Kiev with a great panorama of the city from nearby hills.

What a way to spend a few hours. This street is pretty interesting with not only great views, but a lot of interesting items for sale

A must when you are in Kiev. Feel free to walk the street with cobblestones down the hill. It is one of the oldest streets in the city.

It is a rather commercial street with many souvenir floggers, the area is nice if you are in search for local crafts.

Stunning, just like I remember few decades ago. The view of lower Kiev was something as well. Church itself was closed when i was there but overall experience counted.

We were unable to go inside due to some refurbishing going on. However, the outside is beautiful. The observation deck allows for some amazing views of Kiev. The streets around this area have a lot of vendors and cafes. Be sure to check it out!
