For many Orthodox Serbian people this is one of the most important places. It's small and very atmospheric. The seting inside the Kalemegdan fortress is stunning.

Well worth a stop by. Open (and open-minded) to non-devout visitors even when a service is on. Has another church within 40m, worth doing both.

Not old, I understand, but an authentic Orthodox chapel; well worth a visit. A service was being conducted when I was there; a beautiful, small church.

A small hidden church at the bottom of the fortress, extremely beautiful with beautiful mosaics. Has a natural source of water, a peaceful spiritual place. If you visit The Belgrade fortress, do not miss to visit this church as well as the church above Ružica.

A small fairly average church that is surrounded by lovely gardens and greenery. Makes a change from seeing so much concrete.
