A nice modern area in a rather old city, nice shops and cafes, you can spend few hours easily there, and although it was too cold and snowy when we visited it was busy in a friendly way.

Knez Mihailova is just around the corner from my apartment. It's lively, busy, full of high end shops and galleries but it still has that cool Belgrade feel to it. I think people use it to 'promenade' as it used to be called... You'll find...More

I was looking forward to go shopping in the most hyped street of Belgrade. Unfortunately, it did not contain any high end stores, only a lot of normal Serbian stores. Not really anything special - been there, done that.

When you visit Belgrade you have to walk through the center of city which must be seen in every case possible. Only this way you can see/feel the spirit of Belgrade and its true beauty.

A pleasant walking street with a big park and fortress at one end. There are lots of outdoor cafes and restaurants available. Unfortunately, they're also so smoky that it's impossible to enjoy them, inside or out.

Nice shops along the streets. Tasty ice cream :) All Serbs are going out for walking and have fun down this street obviously.

It is the best and most famous for tourists. There are also may kown brands such and Zara and H&M at the street. Also local shops are very nice and kind.

It is a nice walking zone, filled with bars, restaurants and shops. A little on the expensive side for Belgrade but full of life.
