Saw beautiful photos of Avala hill and downloaded the coordinates of trail leading up the hill and around the tomb of the unknown soldier. Only got as far the old Hotel when two rather aggressive groundskeepers prevented us from continuing on our hike, claiming dog...More

The area is up in Avala mountain, there is a martyers memorial & the Avala tower in addition to a park & a restuarant, I would recomment this as a one day activity where you visit the memorial, go to the tower top and see...More

If you're visiting Belgrade during the summer or spring, if You can, You should visit Avala. Although it technically isn't a mountain, we call it so, it's right next to the city and it's wonderfully peaceful. Although there's not really much to see, it's a...More

Very nice viewpoint tower of the city with museum underneath. The nature around it is so beautiful and clean. Around the tower you will find many nice thins, like outdoor gym, basketball court, playground for the children and many more.

Even though it is a little far from the city, I think it's worthy cause you can have amazing view from this tower and also you can admire this architectural wonder and learn it's history!

Located around 40’ outside Belgrade, I really enjoy the green route to the tower. Elevator takes you up and you can enjoy the view of surroundings of Belgrade. On your way down, stop at Panorama cafe for some more view. Folklore shops downstairs.
