The architecture of Bucharest is wonderful and it's sad so many of the old beauties are boarded up, but walking Old Town is the best.

Spent 3 nights in bucharest, staying at the Europa Royal, this area is great for bars and restaurants, had some great meals, a few drinks in the area, which came to life at night.

Among other architectural treasures you'll find the National Bank of Romania and few steps away the Stavropoleos Church one of the oldest in Romania.

A lovely lively town

We had a guided walking tour round the area which was excellent so we knew a bit of history. We had several nights down the town and it was lovely at night all lit up with lots of bars.
