This is an attractive and well maintained cathedral in the centre of Bucharest. There are a few other buildings in the enclave and there's a good view over to the palace of the parliament.

Is worth a visit to this attraction, just a slight uphill walk to get there. Interior has beautiful frescoes and golden icon works. Very large compared to the many other Biserica's throughout Bucharest. Nice courtyard with another former palace building next door. Nice view from the hill over parts of Bucharest too.…

At walking distance from the Bucharest old town, on top of a small hill. The area of the cathedral is some sort of a complex of many religious buildings. The cathedral itself is very beautiful inside but during our stay there was some grumpy old man who wasn't impressed about me taking photos of the decoration. …

Only a small walk uphill from the main Piatta Unirii is what it takes to reach this magnificent Church complex. It's the seat and the main Church of Romanian Orthodoxy. Pretty simple, but very nice and elegant white exterior hides tremendous beauty and wealth of inside frescoes and golden iconography. One of Bucharest's highlights, do come visit.…

What a wonderful cathedral. Simple architecture on the outside. It Wow on the inside. Definitely worth the uphill walk on the cobblestone street lined with trees (very pretty walk). At first you see a si glue built,sing and I though oh wow, it’s really small and then You see the other structures and the cathedral. Beautiful murals and frescos and alter area. If in the area, take a walk to see it. To me it was worth it. …
