I went here just to check out the Waiting lovers statue. Its a short street just at the back of the Nativity Cathedral Park. Nothing much to see except some bars and restaurants along the way but at least there are no cars allowed in...More

Chisinau really does not have an old town. Too many wars have happened. But here is a pedestrianized, cobbled street which is an effort to get away from the traffic noise. There are some restaurants and hope it will expand into more of an old-fashioned...More

So very beautiful cafes except for some ugly pubsowners advertising in Russian and not the official language of business: Romanian in Moldova. There are tasteful, lovely Moldovan cafes which line the street like crème de la crème alongside ugly loud Russian pubs with names and...More

I expected that the pedestrian street would be full of shops, but it was just a short stretch with a couple of restaurants and bars on both sides. Absolutely not worth a detour.

Pedestrian Street in Chisinau is really small, and the stones from what it is built can make walking rather uncomfortable, so my advice is not to wear high heels. Even if it is small, it has a nice statue of 2 lovers, a few really...More

This street is very short and does not have a lot of objectives on its sides, so not very interesting. 2 stars because it is hilly, it reaches the Cathedral and has the lovers sculpture, which, thank God, are not Soviet lovers.

Modest pedestrian street just of one of the main squares, and nice to get away from traffic. Few bars, restaurants, etc but not really the buzz that other similar areas have. Suspect its a little busier in the summer and when the weather is better...More

Always nice to stroll the street and not worry about traffic. Several restaurants there and walks into the parks.

Nothing to special about the street itself, but there are plenty of bars with large terrace, where you can enjoy your meal / drink. Now it is not completely pedestrian, because it is crossed by drivable street, which is a bum.
