The attraction in question is a hiking trail SW of the town of Skrad in the county of "Gorski Kotar", Republic of Croatia."Zeleni Vir" translates into "Green Whirlpool", a name drawn from the local stream.The hiking trail leads through a gorge, by some impressive cliffs, a mountain stream and a small local hydropower plant. There's also a cavern close by.

It's a short drive from the town of Skrad. The road is narrow and winding. They are doing work with large machinery at the moment but it's still safe and doesn't effect any of the walk trails. You pay 20kn per person, which is basically...More

Unfortunately, there was not enough water so we could'nt enjoy as it should be. So, before going there - check is it dry or is it as izlt should be. But - it is perfect place for family hiking!!! Canyon, waterfall, cave, creek, forrest ......More

Only in s nice day. Because the road to the site curvy(To reach the site should go in a very curvy and narrow road - 7-5 kilometer) The this month is close for reinstruction but water fall is very nice
