Go on, go and buy some fruit here, and pay your respects to the victims of two atrocities, the last of which, finally resulted in air strikes, and resolution. Traditional fruits, veg, flowers, and clothes.

It's a very lively place, different from markets in the Western world as everything is still not too much standardised - you can still get REALLY fresh home grown fruits and vegetables. There is a monument to a terrible massacre from Bosnian war 1992-95

Not only for shopping, but this marketplace has historical value, it was bombed twice during rush hour and lots of people died. Now you can find there anything you need during your stay. Even grandmas are making hand made cigarettes.
