I thought this was very cool. I can remember the Olympics, so being able to walk in the same area was awesome. We took a tour around the city Enes Popara hosted the tour. He was awesome.

Although this is an abandoned Olympic site, the bobsleigh track is the place to be. Lots of great street art, a bit unusual walk trough the woods, highly recommend it.

We visited the Sarajevo 1984 bobsled track on a sunny morning. We drove so we parked at the Pino nature hotel. You can park just next to the hotel or the car park at the bob sled track. Based on the reviews here you might...More

This is one for the explorers, there is nothing but the track itself and a small cafe a hike away with a car park. Google Maps was telling me this was 3km from Stari Grad and I looked up toward the old cable Car lines...More

When you are there, you could hardly believe, that not so long ago, it was the venue of Olympics. Very strange feeling. I recommned to go there by car, as it is ca. 15 minutes drive from the centre and there are several spots on...More

The bobsled tracks were probably my favorite part of my visit to Sarajevo. From glory in 84 to war siege in 94, they have seen the highest highs and lowest lows of humanity. The abandoned tracks are now adorned in graffiti, the colors of which...More

I visited the bobsleigh track as part of an organised tour and we all enjoyed the bizarreness of it. It is covered on graffitti and sits in amongst the trees but what I hadn't realised is that you are able to walk up and down...More

This was probably the highlight of our visit to Sarajevo - a drive up Mount Trebevic to find the now abandoned, heavily-graffitied bobsleigh track that was used during the 1983 Winter Olympics. We parked at the Pino Nature Hotel and wandered about 15 mins down...More

Although not usually a fan of graffiti, it serves an artistic purpose on the abandoned bobsleigh track. Well worth a visit... when ARE you gonna get the chance to walk down an Olympic track? Not to mention the view over Sarajevo just up the road...More

Try "Insider Sarajevo" tours. It is much safer than going on your own because people are sometimes robbed at knife point up there.
