One of Sarajevo roses is both at the front and on the left side, a sober reminder of fatalities from mortar fire near the church. The exterior is very pleasant with the stone blending into the surrounding buildings (of different denomination) the interior is simple...More

A beautiful church which needs to be visited during day as well as in the late evening to see it perfectly. No charge. Interior is a master piece. Even from few hundred meters it has a great look.

It is commonly referred to as the Sarajevo Cathedral. It was built in 1889 and is the largest cathedral in the country and the seat of the Archbishop of Vrhbosna. There's a statue in front of Pope John Paul II who visited in 1997 soon...More

This cathedral, built in the neo-Gothic style, represents yet another masterpiece by the great Czech architect Josip Vancas, who had left his unerasable imprint on the face of our city. Worth visiting both in the daylight and night hours

On 20 Nov 2016, we needed to attend church as it was a Sunday. Before leaving Singapore, we combed through Sarajevo's "things to do" & only remembered seeing many mosques. So we thought we probably had to skip church that day, afterall we have attended...More
