A very impressive square with an impressive 40m high memorial to those who died in WW2. Often used by locals as a backdrop for wedding photos.

Beautiful especially at night, as we used the underground to visit Victory square late evening and it worth it.Was lighted up and the surrounding buildings as well!

There is absolutely no way you can come to Minsk and not go here, it's very central and easy to reach. There is an absolutely stunning view down Independence Avenue that goes on for several miles. The monument itself is actually quite sombre in comparison...More

A monument on the middle with a never ending flame in front . A grand avenue with soviet styled apartmentsblock around

Monument and eternal flame in the centre of a roundabout. Recommend getting a underground team to here unless you're close. Access is through walkways under the busy road.

The Victory Square is one of the main landmarks in Minsk. Besides the square, there is a memorial underground.

Another Soviet square with a monument that is massive and uninteresting. The monument itself, a 125-foot granite obelisk, is hard to miss at the center of this very busy intersection. Four sculpted panels surround it. One depicts the 9 May 1945 victory. The second one...More

Take the metro to visit and enjoy the monument. Make sure you see under the monument as well, very interesting
