As it was a nice sunny day I went up to Dajti mountain first with bus, then with the cable car. The price for a return trip is 800 ALL, and it is worth it. It was rather early so I was the first person,...More

The easiest way is to hail a taxi. It cost me approximately 1,600 Albanian Lek, which is a little more than £10, or €13. There may be a bus, but I could not find it. I got in a taxi in the middle of the city. The ticket booth at the cable car called me a taxi to pick me up once I had got down to the bottom. It took about 10 minutes to arrive. The taxi journey from the city centre is approximately 20 minutes. Initially I had tried to walk, but it is possibly a two-hour walk.
