I was a little worried when I found out our travel agent had booked this ferry instead of the other one - because this one is faster! My stomach does not like boats at all. Turns out I didn't have much to worry about. Our...More

I heard this ferry was a bit cheaper, it cost us $23 each round trip to Moorea. This is the big red boat that says Vodafone on the side. There is plenty of parking south of the big terminal building. Bring your parking ticket and...More

Fast and efficient transport between Papeete Pier and Moorea Pier. Ferry always on time and clean. Only thing it could improve on is signage: where to wait, baggage drop off and pick up, etc .... you're flying a little blind when you arrive at the...More

The ferry trip from Moorea to Tahiti is 30 minutes (versus 45 on the other). It is an easy trip. This ferry is quicker and smaller (relative); the other is more stable and larger. This one may have had a better schedule, but I would...More

30 minutes between Tahiti & Mo'orea! Terevau was spacious, clean and hassle-free. We didn't have to worry about the weight of our luggage the way we would with a plane. Ferry ports on either end have snacks for purchase.

The weather going over to Moorea was a little choppy so some people wee scared or sick but the staff were very helpful. The old fashioned french film that was playing was intriguing. Buying a ticket was not complicated and luggage was dealt with efficiently...More

I prefer this boat over the competition because, in good weather, you can stand on the bow (front) while going to/from Moorea/Tahiti. It's fast, too, but always try to check the schedule. It can be affected by bad weather and holidays

It's easy if you travel by foot. It's nearly impossible if you have a car : in this case a reservation is compulsory

Ia Orana :) The ferry ride from Pape'ete to Mo'orea itself is only about half an hour. It will be open ocean, you won't be passing along a string of other islands or atolls along the way, so there wont really be necessity... More
