Over the years we have seen great things in Asia and the Americas, but nothing tops this !! The ruins which are large and well preserved situated perfectly up there high in the beautiful Andes mountains. If this place isn't on Your bucket-list it should be !!

Go after the crowds have died down, about 2-3 pm and stay until 6 or later. You'll miss the crush and your photos will be amazing. The place is simply magical. Words don't do it justice. Just go!

This place is awesome and so much better than I had expected. I would advise getting up as early as possible and being one of the first people up there in a morning as you get to see the place with less visitors spoiling the backdrop :)

Much has been written about the wonders of Machu Picchu, which is without doubt a wonder of the world, especially if you time it early or late to avoid the terrible overcrowding. However, for me climbing the summit of WAYNA PICCHU is UTTERLY SURREAL, but if you suffer from vertigo and haven´t the strength to climp a never ending climb of... More

While touring the Zona Colonial, mi sister and I stopped at this nice restaurant nested in the heart of the Zona Colonial. We had the Menu of the day: chicken stew, rice, bean and salad. We also has natural juices, pineapple and strawberry. The food was delicious!!!! The service good. And the price even better. This is the 8th day... More

This really is one of THE places you must do whilst in Peru. It can be a bit fiddly to get to, but once up here, it is just something. We found the train to get there, the buses, and entry points all there, but boy, was there a huge crowds for every service. The part on the trains works... More

The opportunity to see a place like this is hard to describe but I will try. The craftsmanship it took to build this village, out of stone, is beyond comprehension. In a time without machines and power tools these people created something of wonder. Although time is taking it's toll, most of the stone walls are still in place. Some... More
