We hiked the Lares trek at the end of May with the Llama Tours for 4 days and we absolutely blown away how spectacular the sceneries are along the way. The historical ruins on the first day that are almost intact gives trekkers a perspective...More

A dream come true! Lares trail, Peru! My partner made a reservation for our trip to Peru with KANDOO. At the airport we were welcomed by the smiling Jose and already feeling happy in the land of the Incas. We had an acclimatization day and...More

Lares Trek is one of the most beautiful places on earth in my opinion but potentially a life-threatening event with G Adventures! I’m an RN & committed to safety, so it was quite a shock to realize that when one of the members of our...More

We booked the Lares Trail with Kandoo and having just finished I couldn’t recommend them more. Our lead guide was Jose and our second guide was John. The trail was excellent: great mountain scenery, glacial lakes, flora/fauna/friendly traditional Andean farming communities. Going up to 4700m...More

I really enjoyed this climb due to the scenery. Having climbed Kilimanjaro before I thought this was a more approachable climb.

Based on the previous posts I was really looking forward to the Lares Trek. My wife allowed me one night to camp and Sam Travel Peru (who were really good) planned a two day and one night itinerary where we would hike from Quishuarani-Cancani-Huacahuasi-Patacancha. It...More

My trek through the Andes from Cusco toward Machu Picchu was the most adventurous trip I've ever taken. The landscape changes every day as you climb up, down, over and through mountain passes. We saw waterfalls, rushing streams, dark blue lakes and a glacier. Choose...More
