We caught the train back after hiking Machu Picchu and it was wonderful. With free snacks and drinks given. Comfy seats and spectacular views out the large windows both along the side and in the roof this is a great train ride well worth taking.

Casual is OK. You can dress up if you wish but certainly not shorts, sneakers and singlets. Tie optional
