this is essentialy a farm stands overlooking fields adjacent to the river with nice view of the valley. You can stock up on chocolate, tea and other local products and realize where all those tasty vegetables come from

The volcano's can be seen from anywhere in Arequipa, this viewpoint gives an overview of the city (not the pretty side of town). Cost 3 soles pp and is very touristic!

I went to this lookout as part of a city bus tour, and there's good news and bad news. The good news: it's a reasonably nice lookout and the view is quite attractive. Unfortunately, the enterprising owners have decided that it is no longer going...More

A good place to see the city and it's surroundings over the verdant farmland on the banks of the Chilli River. There is a snack bar there and, I believe, a lengthy zip wire into the valley! We were taken there on a tour bus...More

Nice place to drink a local herbal liquor and to watch the endless tops of the volcanos. A place for a mindful moment.

I didn't know there was also another lookout besides Yanahuara and Sachaca. This one is probably the best in my opinion. It is surrounded by gardens which gives you a sensation of peace. The view is really nice. You can see the valley and also...More

Look out at the Andes and there are volcanoes - Misti, Pichu Pichu, and one I can never remember. A great chance to see the surrounding area and learn about how the Peruvians still value the healing powers of the earth and plants
