I was walking past the theatre one afternoon and saw Mozarts Zauberflote being advertised on the posters. Since the play was starting in one hour there were only the expensive tickets left. Wonderful play and great costumes, it was so worth the $50.

We had lunch here during a tour of the area. Lunch was excellent. During our lunch there was a protest outside in the plaza. Many street merchants if you are interested in souvenir.

A classic theatre, it's kept in great repair and is stunning both inside and out. Lots of activity on the plaza outside including street performers.

Last night we saw the Bogota Symphony Orchestra perform Mahler's 5th, and the show was fantastic. The orchestra was amazing, the director funny and interesting, and they generally put on a good show. The acoustics in the theater are good. The theater experience itself, however,...More
