This is a great market, tons of things to buy from textiles, chocolate, art and jewelry. The shop owners are friendly and you can also haggle on prices in most places Well worth the visit to buy your Ecuador souvenirs

Nice market with a good range of typical Ecuadorian souvenirs. A lot of the shops have similar items so it pays to browse before buying. You can also barter a bit here - I managed it and I'm not even that good at it!

Very busy and cramped but lots of colour and pretty things to buy. Just be prepared to say No Thank You a lot to all the stall holders and watch your valuables

Yes. Otavalo has many more unique items for sale. It is worth the trip through the mountains to get there.
