Overview
More
Founded in 1856, Cousino Macul is the only winery in Chile amongst those established in the 19th century that continues in the hands of the original founding family. The company remains 100% under family control, producing limited quantities of fine wines. The mission of Cousino Macul is to produce world-class wines that are unmistakably Chilean, carrying the distinctive character of the Maipo Valley.

It is best to get an Uber or taxi here from the nearest metro station (Quilin). Our tour guide Giovanni spoke at a rattling pace (his English is very good) and best advice is to ask questions and slow him down and get him off...More

We had a tour on this property. English spoken bY Giovanni. Very nice to see all the historic things and the juicing of the grapes now. We had a tasting outside in the sun of white and red wine. Lovely. The wine tasted very good!

We took the English tour, and because we were the only participants, we got a private tour. The wine cellars were beatiful and our guide Giovanni Montero knew everything about wines and spoke English fluently.

I visited the winery late march2018 and loved it. For me, a must for wine lovers... At the beginning I was a bit hesitant on taking the premium visit (+16.50usd than the classic) but am glad I done that. At the end of the tour...More

With sommelier Giovanni Montero. Educational tour of what is left of the local Santiago vineyards, and the Historic Heritage site where they have been wine making for 150 odd years. Most of the production area is now mostly a museum, but some wine making remains....More

Mari was such a great guide. She taught us so much about the winemaking process and about Cousino Macul specifically. Would definitely recommend a bike tour with her!

We went on the regular tour at Cousino Macul which included a tour of the vineyard, the old wine presses and cellars. The guide, Giovanni Monteno, was very knowledgeable and fun! Well worth a visit. At the end of the tour you got to taste...More

Our tour guide for the day dropped us off here, and we were taken on a group guided tour by one of the winery guides. There was lots of variety on this tour - a look at the vines growing nearby, a tour of the...More

We used the Bip card to travel to Quilin by metro then D17 bus to get to this winery. Our guide gave an excellent tour (14,000 CLP each), including 4 wine tastings with explanations about how to taste. The old cellar is amazing and the...More

We walked, 2 km. But Uber works well there, so took that back to Metro station.
