Ugly

If you are working by the esplanade you’ll see it but do not plan a visit here it’s an sculpture that seems to be a copy of a 2 grader painting.

What a shame that they are constantly being disfigured. I suppose the only answer is to keep repainting them until the vandals get bored and move on.

Great introduction to the city when approaching from the sea

Although this sculpture looks rather naive when one is close up, the effect from further away is excellent. A very good memory image for the City

An interesting bit of local color

The statue is popular with local folks, we saw several posing beside the statue. The location of the statue offers a very nice view of the bay.
