This was part of the tour we booked when docked in Puerto Montt. Good walking trails and not difficult. Lovely falls, rivers and foliage. The Petrohué Waterfalls inside the park are gorgeous and there are fabulous views to Osorno Volcano. This is a great stop...More

Due to bad weather we weren't able go access many trails but those available to us did not disappoint. It costs $4000 pesos each to enter the park but that includes both entrances. We saw awesome waterfalls. The travel roads to both entrances are bad...More

We had a nice 8k walk to see the millennial tree. Very deep and humid forest and a beautiful waterfall

This national park is a nice option from Puerto Montt or Puerto Varas, though for a day trip you need a tour or your own vehicle. There is a 3,000-year-old alerce tree that is easy to reach but don't expect to see more unless you...More

Because my boyfriend is a tree freak we has to visit this park to see the old Alerce trees. The park is very beautiful, lots of fauna and in the backdrop beautiful, dark mountains making the plants standout even more. Also there is a fox...More

A nice place to do simple or moderate hike. You do hear and if lucky see some interesting birds. Other than that, it is a nice hike to see the different flora species.

Well-marked trails, but I made the flat and easy part . There are others with varying degrees of difficulty . Unfortunately it rained a lot. You can get much better with good weather.

The whole park is wonderful the petrohue cascades were wonderful - can imagine what it is like with snow melt coming down - it was summer when I was here and there was still a huge amount of water coming thru.

This subtle park holds no thrills but a water shed for ecology and enology. Rapids, falls and lakes of crystal clear water remind us that civilization can be curbed from taking over nature. Walks into the woods allow a peaceful respite from the city.

I really wasn't sure what to expect beyond a pretty forest hike based on the reviews - but on the main hike you will see one pretty and one AMAZING laguna, a waterfall, a huge tree, and a hobbit like forest trail. My advice if...More

You should drive from Puerto Montt around ~30-40km south, using route 7. Then you will have to turn left and drive for 5-10 more km.
