You can walk the beach easily. Surrounded by mountains and not commercial like Villarica. Worth the drive away from Pucon center.

the main beach is big and a bit crowded, better to walk to Playa Blanca which is smaller and nicer, also nice to walk by the lake, follow the locals

Same like Villarica lake you can't just swim wherever you want. You have restricted areas where you can swim so the jetski rentals can have their business. We just went there for a little swim, but I would totally skip this lake, the lakes in...More

There is a choice of two beaches, Both are large and safe. There is ample parking at both beaches. The road from Pucon is sealed and well maintained.

Lovely beach with mountains surrounding you and a Féria to buy souvenirs. What’s not to like? We didn’t go in but it was very peaceful and scenic like much of the area. It was a drizzly day so no one was out.

We visited to lake on a cool damp November day. There was hardly anyone around and everything was closed. View of the lake was nice despite the weather. I am sure it's completely different on a warm summer day.

There is nothing special at this beach at caburga. It is really a desert place. The view is good. If you like to walk around he lake you will get a great view. But just for the lake is not worthwhile.

Great spot to relax. Sunset views are great. Not fine sand but coarser gravel. Still good spot to relax after trekking

Nobody goes to Pucon without visiting this lake! Just walk through the main road O' Higgins to the end and you will reach Lake Caburga.

It must be a nice place to go to during Summer, when you can actually go into the lake. But even on a gray Winter day, it is an easy drive from Pucon on a nice road.
