I had the opportunity to meet him during my school trip in 2017, and it is a very interesting place, full of culture and history, a very good place to visit alone or accompanied, ideal for people interested in culture.

This is a classic open air museum with settlers’ houses moved to a compact and easily visited location. The history of the German settlers is fascinating and the old buildings give it life and resonance. It’s remarkable to learn how they arrived, what they brought...More

It is a nice place to go, and to know a little about the German settlers, for someone who lived in the countryside in the 70s or 80s, you can find similar machines to those already seen, but it is also an interesting place to...More

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon ideal for a stroll around the park to visit the ancient buildings which have been moved here and reconstructed. You will need a couple of hours to visit all the colonial buildings

Not a museum in the traditional sense This is due mainly to the fact it’s got no exhibits. Basically I paid to see a bunch of trees that I could’ve seen for free.

This museum is about a block from the Main Street along the waterfront. Admission is about $4.50 USD per person which is reasonable. To me, the best part is the beautiful gardens spreading out in front of the gardens. The flowers are very colorful and...More

This museum is absolutely excellent. Well worth spending a few hours to enjoy the gardens and get a flavour of how the settlers lived.

I enjoyed visiting this museum, which comprises a set of reconstructed buildings with various artefacts in them. It’s in a nice setting with attractive gardens and flowers. Although the buildings are inauthentic, they still give a good sense of the lives of early German settlers...More

This well maintained historical German family farm is a great way to showcase the European influence on this area of Chile. It is well maintained with many antique artifacts that your do not typically get to see up close and in their natural setting. The...More

This museum complex was probably the highlight of our tour. Expansive, beautiful buildings and well maintained gardens, artefacts relative to each building, the babbling stream, glorious flowers and the holly tree burdened with clusters of red berries. Some steep paths to climb, (depends on age...More
