This is a lovely and respectful place to visit. There is a tree planted for every fallen soldier of the 1982 war. Its great place to pay respect to the fallen. The wood is looked after by the local Boy Scouts and Girl Guides who...More

A Wood that has a tree for each fallen British soldier in the 1982 War. A somber and respectful place. Worth a stroll for anyone in tha part of the town.

Walked round here on a few occasions. Very very moving place to visit . Very thoughtfully done ,this is a must if your in Stanley .

Every tree represents a fallen serviceman form the war. Each tree has a plaque with much memorabilia, and photographs. Planted by the local scouts under instruction from Jan and Tim. A fitting memorial to those who never came back. It's a "must visit" if ever...More
