View is good. Construction work is ongoing to the merlion, so you cant experience water coming from its mouth till the work is not done.

Iconic statue of Singapore. Wildly overcrowded with inconsiderate tourist but worth seeing first hand. Expect people to be inconsiderate while there and area restaurants to be overpriced in the area. Still, visit the waterfront park and see the statue.

Unfortunately this was all covered over. I had really wanted to see this and we searched for ages wondering how we could miss it, to find it all covered up having repairs done. Was disappointed. Surrounding area is very nice.

Beautiful park! Amazing view by Singapore river. The big original statue undergoing construction currently but you can take some great picture with the smaller Merlion just behind the big one in the park!
