Was shown Chinatown on a city tour, so just had to visit when I had a little more time. Busy and crowded, but a wonderful vibrant area of the city. Wonderful Chinese dishes can be found as you explore this historical gem.

This is the real thing compared with London. The streets a full of life, people and wonderful smells. A real must see is the Chinese tailors house which is one of the best museums I have ever visited.

Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful
sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling
sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its
blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an
Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit
almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony
continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to
the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.
