We took this cable car from Mount Faber to the Harbour Front and then the second option on to Sentosa Island itself.
Mt Faber gives you some great views but the ride on the cable car really is tremendous - super views over Sentosa Island,...More
Get off MRT at harbour front and walk through shopping centre to purchase tickets. The cable car takes you to two separate routes - one to Mount Fabre and the other to Sentosa. You can travel to both. It is very high and a great...More
We had a great experience on the cable car. It was such a fun way to get to Sentosa. You'll be able to see the city from high above. If you ride it at night, you'll see the city light at night. It's beautiful. Best...More
Tickets: We bought a Universal Studio+Aquarium+Cable Car combination ticket online. Buying tickets online beforehand did not help skip the queue. We had to stand in the same line as everyone else (who are buying tickets) to redeem tickets/vouchers. In fact we felt that people buying...More

the views from the cable cars are great, you can see all the way around the islands, we toured on all of the cars & saw some amazing sights, it was a very hot day & the cars were still reasonable cool.
Caught the Cable Car from the Harbour Front Station up to Mount Faber. Walked around for 30 minutes admiring the beauty of the forest area on the mountain. Then rode the Cable Car all the way down to Sentosa Island. The whole operation is well...More

If you are feeling energetic you can walk to the Mt Faber cable car station quite easily. Many different paths lead there but the best and easiest are either from the Harbourfront MRT station (follow the signs) up a quite steep path/staircase (about a 15 minute walk) or from Telok Blangah Hill Park via Henderson Waves (also about a 15 minute walk via Telok Blangah Green). There are a lot of people on those trails, so you can't get lost.

Hi, there are lifts at each of the entry points meaning you can get to the same storey as the entry. Something to be aware of though is that the car doesn't stop moving so your husband would have to be comfortable standing on the concrete, then reaching over and quickly climbing aboard the moving and swaying car. Same thing when getting out. If your husband has a walking frame or wheelchair it might be quite tricky. If he is just a little unsteady on his feet, it may be easier.
