About
"Rarely seen without a bustling crowd of customers, Mustafa Centre is set in the Little India district. A cult favourite in the Singaporean shopping scene, it’s the best place to go if you’re after a bargain or enjoy shopping late into the twilight hours. Mustafa may not be as fancy as some of Singapore’s other malls, but it has a great range of items, and good prices to match. Here, you’ll get a bargain on just about everything, from clothes, perfume, souvenirs, electronics, makeup, confectionery and even food and groceries. "

Neighborhood: Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.

- AryaTusharNew Delhi, India87 contributionsCan visit for experience of a budget megastar.Probably a great place to visit for locals but as a tourist it did not add up much. The prices are low by 15 -20% over Indian price but added weight to be carried in flight needs to be accounted for. GST refund is applicable and should be applied for but do not forget to carry your singapore arrival card.Visited March 2023Traveled with familyWritten March 26, 2023

With competitive prices compared to other options, Mustafa Centre caters to a wide range of budgets. The extensive variety of choices available makes it a perfect destination for shoppers of all kinds.Visited January 2023Traveled with familyWritten July 14, 2023
- Abhay MehtaUdaipur, India235 contributionsAll the items under one roofThe favorite place of Indians for shopping whether routine or specialized shopping. You can find all the item in this mall ranging from consumer goods to apparels to electronics and even gold. You can purchase gifts and souvenirs at much cheaper rate sometimes less than half the rate of open market or tourist place. They also provide you GST refundable bill.Visited August 2022Traveled with familyWritten July 28, 2023

If you like indulging in capitalist, everything-available-at-once experiences or just enjoy “window shopping”, this is a great place. From a European perspective, I especially liked looking at all the tech stuff we can only get on Amazon. Great place.Visited August 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten August 25, 2023
- Haytham Abu FirasQatar14,444 contributionsAnything anytimeSuch a huge central shopping mall where you can find all what you need. Two opposite buildings, one for gold and diamond and the other for all shopping groceries, dresses, shoes, guitars, perfumes and many others. - Dan LBunbury, Australia7,494 contributionsMustafa Mega MallI first visited Mustafa in 1982, directed there with a fistful of Singapore dollars after British Airways left my luggage at Heathrow. The lady at lost baggage assured me that I could purchase a range of men's clothing for the small amount of assistance received. So it proved and since then no visit to Singapore is complete without a visit to the store in Syed Alwi Road. It's become mega big over the years, each floor packed with merchandise, perhaps too much in places as aisles have become so narrow that one person has to step into an adjacent aisle to allow the other pass. Very difficult to peruse and fit garments and frankly, I found the experience overwhelming on this occasion. Each level was crammed with merchandise, the only areas visited that offered relative space were the jewelry and watches sections. Still old-fashioned security with plastic cable ties sealing the plastic bags containing your purchases. Worth visiting on a weekend for a claustrophobic experience.Visited November 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten December 26, 2023
- mcminaVancouver, Canada202 contributionsChocolates and SouvenirsIf you are looking for cheap chocolate souvenirs and what-not, this is the place for you. The store is full of a lot of things, from dry goods to groceries. I watched a Youtube video which somehow convinced me that this is the place to shop for Merlion Chocolates and other souvenir items. Beware tho, you might spend more that you think. If you are buying lots and lots, well, it might be worth the trip. But with just a few like a dozen boxes, well you may be better off buying in the grocery in near your hotel. We are staying in a hotel in Orchard, so we had to pay Grab to and from Mustafa. So I computed the fare and price and realized it would've been better off buying at Lucky Plaza.Visited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten January 1, 2024

I went on a weekday and I understand weekends are extra busy. Aisles are tight to move around on the multiple floors. But if you have the time and like a good rummage for some bargains, worth a visit. Note that the prices are very good but the prices in Bugis street market was even better.Visited January 2024Traveled soloWritten January 15, 2024

The cashier system is very bad. 5 counters but only 1 cashier working. What's the point of having so many counters but only 1 working?? Might as well do self checkout.

Great place to shop. You can find almost anything in there and it opens 24/7 😊
The quality of the clothes are great. I would recommend getting the souvenir shirts here, variety of designs and colours.

Bustling market, especially to purchase small knick-knacks as well as gifts for loved ones. It is the center of town and has a variety of products at a good price. Purchased an earings and necklace set with a touch of oriental and classical touch.

Yes it gets crowded. I recommend to visit the underground floor or basement floor, you'll find a big jewelry store full of Indian shiny gold like no other I've seen!
