The origins of Singapore lie in its distant past as a maritime trading hub and no exploration of the city can be complete without taking in this museum, which brings alive various aspects of the trade Singapore saw across centuries, which created its links to...More

Must try the typhoon theater, u can pre book or purchase from the entrance at $3. The whole museum will take no more than 1 hour to complete. There is a souvenir shop.

We really enjoyed this museum, which is very well laid out, with interesting exhibits, interactive sections and an immersive experience all included. It was very quiet on an otherwise crazy busy day in Sentosa. It might not be good for young children as there is...More

The boats, holograms etc were interesting but I wouldn't pay $12 (discounted as it has just been re-opened) for the few minutes it took to see the exhibits. Perhaps as a Malaysian, a fair bit is quite familiar, such as Malacca, hence, it may not...More

An interesting museum with lots to look at. Good for kids as there are things they can touch. Also the typhoon cinema was a bit of fun. Definitely worth a visit - especially if the weather is a bit rubbish.

We went especially to visit this exhibit, and was pleasently surprised. The history content is excellent and made interesting by the holograms throughout the display. Each display is visually impressive and well explained. The staff are knowledgeable and well trained. Definatly not to miss

Visited the MEM when it reopened yesterday after ~8 months closure. Honestly it took me a while before I realised where the MEM actually was during my many visits to the SEAA. When it closed for renovations, it made me miss the spacious entryway of...More

Purchased as part of a group ticket, our visit here was purely by chance. Luckily it was very interesting to walk around and read the history of trade in the region, amongst other informative facts. I particularly loved the ship.
