Worth going to, taking the obligatory photo of, then going home and telling all of your friends that you've been there.
Plus location-ally, the beach is lovely, and you're quiet close to attractions like the Bird and Animal show, which is worth seeing.
It's probably not the true Southernmost Point, but what the hey, it was a nice spot. Loved the swing bridge to get there- perfectly safe to walk over, and it adds a real 'tropical' feel to the little island.
It has a sign that suggest you reached some place special. but in reality. it's just a small island, certainly not at the southern point of singapore, that has a nothing special view.

Sentosa island is said to have the Southern most point of continental Asia, connecting the island through a bridge. An absolutely beautiful place to watch the sunset, and the waves touching the share. Perfect for pictures and photo ops!
Honestly, it's one of those "touristy" things to do when you're already in the area. Why not go and see the "Southernmost point of continental Asia" right? You cross a neat rope bridge and can take pictures with a sign claiming its geographical location. Like...More
