I have lived all over the world and traveled to many of the beaches. Presently, I would rate White Beach one of the best. What makes the beach so special is that it is so big and you can walk or swim out and any where you touch bottom it is white powdery sand. If you like the beach scene and people watching, the middle of the beach is great. But if crowds make you nervous then at the ends there is plenty of empty beautiful sand. It makes me feel goo just to think about it.

What a great beach with lovely soft, cool sand. The beach is clean and the currents safe. the shallow waters makes it ideal for young children.

Since visiting Boracay some years back, I highly recommend going back. The beach can now be enjoyed by everyone- no more chairs for rent to avoid; but still the people offering boat tours, paddle boats, paraw rides, necklaces are there.

I will post photos of Station 1. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Boracay white sand beach is the best ever in the world! With less people, the island has turned back its time. The waters are now clean, the sand is whiter and the air refreshes your soul. This is one place that was healed during the pandemic. Will return again soon.

Truly still one of the beaches I've been in in terms of sand (fine, gentle sloping) and water (clear) but I suggest to check on season of visit. Went here during habagat season (Jul, I think it ends in Sept) and water was not calm as you see in most photos. Water almost reaches the establishment during high tide but when it shifts (usually after noon), you may enjoy a leisurely walk across stations or even wade up to a certain point. There are roaming lifeguards who will warn you when you get too far.

New norm requires wearing of face mask when walking around or even while sitting down by the sand to enjoy the view. Face shield required only when riding an e-trike. You won't need this unless you're not into walking or you're going to other beaches like Ilig-Iligan (which is calm during habagat) or Puka (same state as White Beach, low tide usually fr 1PM onwards).

If you want to swim in calmer water, most accessible is Bulabog or back beach which is within a 10-min walking distance fr Budget Mart near Station 2. Fr the main road, turn right on road with Andoks and walk straight.

Since its rehabilitation, drinking alcohol is no longer allowed by the beach. Then as of Jul 2021, it is liquor ban in the island bec of the pandemic.

This approximately four-kilometer stretch of white beach is definitely Boracay Island's main attraction. It's the main reason why people visit the island. It may not have the whitest and the finest white sand in the country, but it's got a really nice one and great lukewarm clear waters, too. There are times of the year when green moss cover many parts of it, so be sure to check out the best season of the year to avoid this. In summer, the white beach gets pretty crowded and the cost of accommodation at the beachfront resorts is more expensive than usual. There are also many agents who try to give you their offers as to the water activities one can do in Boracay. Be sure to canvass and compare the prices first before you decide. Some of them are simply overpriced.

Nice beach with clear waters (but too hot for my taste) and some nice views of mainland Aklan.

BUT. . . You can't go for a stroll or even a swim without being bothered by watersport hawkers every 50 meters. They don't understand they are not welcome trying to interrupt what you are already doing to go do whatever is it that they are selling. For example, was swimming and this one kept shouting at me from the shore "Sir! Sir! Paddleboard! Sir!". Took like 5 minutes for him to go away. Repeat a scene like that several times a day. It absolutely ruins the experience.

As I write this, I've counted 7 of these watersport hawkers standing in a semi circle staring into the hotel (Hanann) waiting for "foreigners" to come out. . . plus 4 others orbiting the main group including child beggars. Today, there seems to be more hawkers/beggars than tourists.

Another issue is the amount of garbage floating in the water: lighters, plastic bags, packaging of Filipino snacks. . .

I went to Boracay last 2020. yes, it was a great experience for me and my colleagues because of its breathtaking white sand beaches. Boracay is very famous if u go to the Philippines. but unfortunately, when me and my colleagues decided to go island hopping, we met 3 men (boatmen) then while we are on board the boat they are laughing and we asked them why and they said its nothing cuz they just saw something then all of a sudden 1 of them told 1 of my colleagues that he looks like bayot(?) and we asked them whats that mean, they said pogi but little did they know we have Edward(half Filipino) who can understand some Tagalog then told us later what it really means. we encounter these types of people not just once like some tried pranking us to drink something they told a liquor but it is really white vinegar. its a sad experience I hope the next time I go to the Philippines it won't happen again cuz the Philippines is beautiful

Went to white beach in 2015. It would be such a nice island, but i never saw a built up place like boracay.
Anyway, the people are nice, the beach is clean and really amazing.
