This beach cost P500 return (including P50 tip) with the ETrike driver waiting for almost an hour while we walked to the south end of this lovely beach.

It was Amihan so I expected the waves to be rough but not so. There was some shade.

The beach is in pristine condition: wonderful white sand, very few rocks in the sea (at least for the few metres I swam) and on sunny days such as we had the waters are a most attractive turquoise.

The vendors are not pushy (unlike terrible Bali).

Most of the main road is rehabilitated: contractors are still working on one section of a perhaps 300-400 metres, but it was easily traversed by the competent and friendly ETrike driver.

There is at least one seated restaurant close to the beach and the usual array of elderly souvenir and very basic takeaway cafes.

One of the usual tourists spots. There are several photo ops where local photographers will take your photo and you have a chance to purchase them if you want to. No pressure though. There are a few vendors selling puka shell jewelry. The sand is not as fine and powdery as the other parts of the island but still a beautiful beach.

It was okay. Not really a nice beach to lounge around and swim. It was raining when we were there and the sand was too heavy.

I was very happy I made the effort to get an etrike here. This beach is beautiful and one of the best. It's so nice to swim and peaceful blue water. Not too crowded if you walk down abit.

I have a great experience in riding a crystal kayak with lots of nice photoshoots from the kayak assistant. I've found new friends in that hidden paradise. I have lots of unforgettable experiences and menoried in Boracay. Longing to be back someday.

So blue and clean, pristine and cheery. If i could find an accommodation nearby this beach then I'd rather stay here next time instead of the usual boracay station areas.

We decided to have a wander down and were greeted by absolute chaos! So many boats and tourists that you couldn’t really see past it all which was a shame as otherwise the sand and water were to die for. We decided to walk through the chaos to the far end of the beach and for some strange reason, there seemed to not be anyone that side so we put our stuff down and had a swim. By around midday the boats left along with tourists and we ended up having the beach almost to ourselves. Ended up being worth it in the end so give it a try.

Beautiful place!

I recommend you visit early. I arrived about 7.30am, and there were only a handful of people; by about 9.30am there were many island tour boats arriving, and the place soon became busy.

I like to walk, so I walked from Station 2 (about 5km / 1 hour), although I didn't see anyone else doing the same. Most people arrived either by e-tricycle, or on a tour boat.

As you enter the beach, you can turn to the left and walk all the way along the beach. You can even go around the rocks at the end, where you will discover a beautiful private cove.

I went to this place as part of the Island Hopping package and I can say that Puka beach is much better today. It now has snacks, shakes and drinks in the area, unlike last time where it was only shells and sands. The shakes though are a bit pricey, they range from 250 to 400 per glass.

The beach is far from the well known Station 1 to 4 we're most of the people flock together. But Puka beach is indeed one of the scenic place to visit while in Boracay. Sunset in the area is indeed awe inspiring, and of course the locals are very accommodating. You can look for Mark (aka. Toto) if you need unforgettable photos for you to keep. Most of them offer their photography skills for just a tip and its worth it. If you need a land base tour guide I strongly recommend Sir Noel Talanas just search him online or visit the famous Jonah's Fruit shake and ask for sir Noel because his wife Novie is working there.
