Quick drive to Puca
Oct 2021
We took an e-trike to Puca beach (100 to 150Php each way for the 3 of us) and it is a nice beach. Not as clean or nice as white beach but it is good to see it. The shell art is cheaper here than in Station 1 to 3. We went on a day when it was a little windy and the boats which take tourists to the beach were struggling to land. You can take a boat there but e-trikes are more environmentally good and from what we saw, the people coming on the boats did not see the main shops at the entrance to the beach but rather sellers who run to the boats to sell their shells. I would not recommend swimming at this beach as it gets deep quickly and looks to have strong rip currents.

Bright blue water, wide shore
Jul 2021 • Solo
Its charm lies in its bright blue waters and wide shore of fine sand. As it follows the state of calm of Boracay's main beach, there were waves when I visited during habagat season. You can wade and play with the waves near the shore but swimming is not advised, esp since there are no lifeguards in the area. Best to visit when tide is low (usually afternoon) so you can walk to the left side and see most of the beach.

It is less crowded than the main beach but a local said it can be crowded when island hopping tours are allowed during peak season. Bright side is, sea is calm by then.

There are souvenir and food stalls at the entrance. On the left side, there are vendors offering drinks which come with free use of mat/banig. They usually also offer to take your photos.

While Puka Beach is part of island and land tours, you can opt to hire E-trike or motorbike. In my case, one-way trip from the main beach costs Php150.

Nice, but its "cantilado"
Jul 2021
Less visited compared to the White Beach, this place also offers a nice white sand beach and crystal clear waters. However, its swimming area is "cantilado" -- meaning, there's a sudden drop in the depth of the water, which makes it quite dangerous for those who do not know how to swim. Apart from this, Puka Beach is less crowded compared to the White Beach -- hence, more relaxing and peaceful.

Tourist trap!
Mar 2021
So overpriced! While we understand that we need to order drinks to be able to rent a beach mat, the price of p350 for a mango shake at the beach is too much. It's the same price at a 5-star hotel in the area! Then the lunch... a rip-off! They even tagged on a service charge for service at a shack with the barest minimum. We know the hospitality industry is suffering but how can this area attract local tourists at this rates? Calling DOT...

Nice beach

Another nice beach but still underdeveloped or probably undermaintenance. Great for relaxation and early morning walk ⭐⭐⭐⭐

There is NOTHING here. The Government has destroyed the attractiveness for tourist. I felt sorry for the people who lost their jobs.
