It was nice to see all the similar hills in the landscape. Quite far to get to from Panglao (Alona Beach). Not a landscape we usually see elsewhere. So really liked it

When you arrived by the entrance, the surrounding view is already picturesque but if you wanna burn some fat and climb their stairs (mind you it's tideous, at least for us LOL, because the steps have very small distance from one another) then you'll see...More

Chocolate Hills, Butterflies, Mahogany Forrest, and river boat ride...we did the drive from Panglao to the Chocolate Hills, we just had a driver, not really a tour guide. It was a nice drive to see the sites, we got some nice photos, but it appears...More

If you are at Bohol this is a must to see. There is several view points where you can see the beauty of the area. It is possible to take several tours around the island, that shows this, and other interesting places on Bohol. But...More

We had the pleasure of visiting our cousin in Bohol for a few days in February and whilst there we managed to visit the chocolate hills. This is a natural phenomenon and a marvellous site to be able to see. There's a considerable clime up...More

It was a fun adventure to get here, but it was just average. Yes what you see is a bit different, but better than any other view around here. It was beautiful none the less. I’m glad I went but wouldn’t go back as it...More

At the time of year we visited the hills were green. Unusual but green. The myths and legends surrounding them are numerous. To get a better view there is climb if 214 steps (14 Feb - Valentines Day) as one of the myths relates to...More

About an hour-ish drive from Panglao, but worth the visit especially if you can combine it with the Tarsier Sanctuary in Corella and a stop at a waterfall. Impressive formation quite unlike any I've seen before.

Rented a scooter and drove up from Loboc, it’s def something you should do in the area but if you’re pressed for time in the phillipines just skip it altogether

This was one of the things we had planned on seeing when we came to Bohol. It is worth the time to come up to see the myriad of hills dotting the landscape as far as the eye can see. It wasn't "chocolate" when we...More

Hi there. This trip is doable on a scooter, and if you are an experienced biker you will like it. It's at least 3 hours from panglao one way. Also it's a single lane road and the busses drive like lunatics. I would... More
