We visited this attraction mid March 2022 and it was closed. It seemed to be closed for quite a while. All signage removed and no one around. I'm hoping someone from TA will update when and if it opens again.

As part of a Bohol tour we took in the Butterfly Conservation Centre. The guide spoke perfect English and was very informative explaining the difference between Butterflies and Moths. An number of mounted ones to view before entering the main netted off area. There were several species of butterfly available and as it was hot they were all flying about. Made it difficult to get a decent picture. In the centre about half an hour, if you are passing pop in but not worth a trip out to see on its own.

We visited here in august with friends and family. We were disappointed to see the monkey chained up in a cage and nothing to play with. Also the same with the birds locked in small cages with nothing in it. And again a snake locked in a black box. No water or food in any of the cages for the animals. As animal lovers this made us sad to see

To AnnatY9255VZ Thank you for taking the time also to make a review. But Habitat Bohol Conservation Center does not have monkeys, snake or birds in cages. We are a butterfly garden and large open garden with free flying butterflies, birds and other wildlife all free in a natural wildlife friendly open environment. Habitat Bohol cares for our local wildlife and creates wildlife friendly landscaping that attracts wildlife naturally and is free to come and go in the open surrounds.Thank you

Not see much of different butterflies. I think we only saw 3 different species, Although my wee boy was happy to have 3 butterflies landing on his arm and shirt.

A very nice park for what it is. Lots of photo moments. Beautiful flowers and butterflies. Some educational parts make it a great stop for kids. If you’re in the area it’s worth a stop.

We passed by the Butterfly Sanctuary on our way to the Chocolate Hills. At first we were kind of disappointed that the butterflies that we saw were those that were mounted on the frames. The tour got interesting when the guide actually volunteered to take various pictures of us which showed us having wings of a butterfly, flying, etc - optical illusion to the max! The tour was also informative - the alpha butterflies are the females!, haha. The guide was also very entertaining and had us laughing from start to finish of the tour. All in all, a fun way to spend 20-30 minutes of your time in Bohol.

Thank you Raxpet for your review and glad to hear you had a fun time with our guide taking your photos etc. The framed butterfly displays at the start of the tour are for educational purposes which we feel is important for people to experience as part of the tour at Habitat Bohol. Thanks again for taking the time to make a review.

We understood that this was the home of the world's largest snake. That may well have been the case, until it died and is now stuffed. Still, plenty of other large snakes to see and touch. Our guide was a bit of a comedian but still helpful. The butterfly garden was well maintained. There are a few other animals in cages which I'm not a fan of.

To GrahamW1245, thank you for taking the time to make a review. But Habitat Bohol Conservation Center does not have any snakes (dead or alive) or other wildlife in cages. We are a butterfly garden and large open garden with free flying butterflies and other wildlife all free in a natural wildlife friendly open environment. There are now 8 butterfly gardens in Bohol, therefore it is easy to make a review of the wrong place. Habitat Bohol is the only dual butterfly garden in Bohol with a small enclosure for an up close encounter, and a very large open garden especially designed to attract butterflies naturally. We have recorded almost 200 butterfly species visiting our open garden and over 45 local bird species, all of which visit the area freely. Thank you

Very nice garden view made us realize the wonders of nature. Entertaining staff who assisted us added to the beauty of the place.

The butterfly habitat conservation centre was included in our Bohol island day tour. It is a nice stop and interesting place, with lots of beautiful butterflies. We had a fun and knowledgable guide who added a lot of value to the visit. It not very large, in 30-45 min you have seen everything.

Plus points it's cheap, some colourful butterflies and flowers staff are friendly but not a great deal to it. Small path into very small butterfly area , then a few photo ops where you can give yourself butterfly wings, then the ever present gift shop selling tourist tat
