The shop is incredible and full of BEAUTIFUL handmade and unique gifts. We purchased a hand carved and painted plates, earrings and little animals for ourselves and to gift. These were the exact souvenirs we were hoping to find on our trip.

Asiano's products are all hand made using mostly local organic materials such as seeds, animal bones, exotic wood, driftwood, roots, etc. Some products are handmade by indigenous villages around Palawan for Jojo to continue the artistic flow from the current generation to the next.
With store branches in Puerto Princesa and Coron, owner Jojo Orcullo spearheads the creativity and marketing inside Asiano.
I have already bought large pieces I would place in my home. The exotic wood used on these products are incredible, at reasonable prices, and wonderful friendly staff.
I highly recommend a visit and I assure you, you will be shipping some items to your home.

ASIANO is an amazing place to find locally produced wood carvings and jewelry at very reasonable prices. They had one of the highest quality selection of items out of all the stores we visited that day. The shop owner was very helpful and knowledgeable about the artists and sources of the products.
We were in town for only a day during a stopover in Puerto Princesa while on a cruise. We had opted to not take the cruise-led tour of the city, found our own driver, did a bit of google research over breakfast, and mapped out our own tour for the day with the goal of hitting authentic local shops that aren't frequented by tour buses. ASIANO was one a few businesses we visited within about a mile long strip, and it's a great part of town for spending a couple hours shopping for authentic Palawan arts and crafts.

I had a hard time finding this shop but I am SO glad that I did. The art is truly amazing and I spent easily over an hour trying to decide on just one piece to buy (good luck leaving with just one!). The staff is wonderful and will assist you with finding the perfect piece, learning about the design/artist, etc. The prices are also surprisingly affordable considering each is one-of-a-kind and completely handmade. I highly recommend checking out this store!

Nicest shop we've seen in the Philippines. Everything is hand made and so so beautiful and unique! A must visit.

The place where we enjoyed the most of our stay. We promised ourselves that we want our home to be like the Asiano's shop in palawan with so many artistic and handcrafted carvings.

We find a shop Asiano on our last day in Puerto Princessa. That was a real find! Owner Jojo is decently know a lot about arts and craft in Palawan. The shop / gallery is very special. We left a shop with a sculpture which is now in the prime place in our house in UK. Good look Jojo. It nice to meet person with such a passion!

If you are going to buy local art, this is the place. The family that owns this store goes into the rural areas of Palawan to purchase the local crafts. But they are doing something much more than than; they are offering design advice to the artists that elevates the craft into a work of art. They know where everything comes from, the materials used and the meaning of the images. The prices may initially seem a little high, but when you consider the quality of the pieces, you are not over paying. Along with the Underground River, this is one of the highlights of a trip to Puerto Princesa. A great choice!!

Do they have a website? I’d like to buy and get it shipped to the states!

Asiano is an arts and crafts store so it's free to go in and look around, no costs unless you want to buy something!
