Nice sand and beautiful beach, lots of palm trees. Good place for swimming and feeding the fish, but the water is not clear enough to go snorkelling. Beautiful place to hang around and relax.

Our Group tour had lunch here in Cowrie Island. Included in the tour, seafoods, fruits and drinks included., There is a big swing and big coin with Cowrie sign. My son enjoyed because he had playmates in this island. Where they get shells. We also danced in tiktok here, because our time is quite long here to enjoy the view.

This was our second time at Cowrie Island. The first time was a part of a Honda Bay island hopping tour package. After that experience, we realized that Cowrie Island is the only island worth visiting. This time we decided to skip the island hopping and just arrange a trip directly to Cowrie Island. This was by far the better thing to do.
Upon arrival at the Honda Bay pier, we proceeded to the Cowrie Island booth to make arrangements. The very helpful lady there named Tin Tin helped coordinate all that we needed including arranging the boat, paying the environmental fees, the buffet, and even the cabana rental for the day. We arrived on the island a little before 9am and pretty much had the island to ourselves except for a handful of workers preparing for the waves of island hoppers coming in later. Getting there early was also a great time to jump in the water before the blistering heat of the mid-day sun. The island started to get busy around 11am so that was 2 hours to enjoy the place to ourselves.
The island has many activities that you can participate in. We pretty much just wanted to swim, have a few drinks, eat, and relax. For a small price you can also play volleyball, snorkel, kayak, jetski, banana boat, flying fish, get henna tattoos, or a massage. Full facilities with plenty of bathrooms, showers, places to sit, and a fully stocked bar. The buffet was fantastic with lots of selections. Since we rented a cabana and made friends with the staff, they actually brought food to us so we wouldn't have to walk to the buffet line.
All in all this was a great experience and one that we will be revisiting.

I give you 5 stars only for the atmosphere and the kindness of people who work there. Pleaseee, do something for the toilets, were too dirty but still it’s worth it! I would go again!

Nice, but not very much there. The sea is pristine and the sand is also very clean. Not very much to do.

Fun calm island. We only stayed about an hour on our tour but enjoyed the calm water on the island. Very soft sand!

Cowrie island is a popular island hopping destination in Honda Bay. This island and its waters are beautiful, no doubt of that. But I just hope the people in charge of running the island will do something about the waste from the tourists. I don't know if it was okay to them but I saw that the water from the shower rooms just go directly to the sea. I hope I was wrong

How to get to Cowrie Island if we're only 2 people? Is it possible to join a boat at Honda Bay?

I am in the same situation right now, hope you made it happen and got to Cowrie Island. Did you? If yes, would you like to tell me how did you do so?

Can you please provide some feedback on the quality of the restrooms at these islands? I read that some places don't really have any decent restrooms. And since Cowrie appears to be the place where everyone goes to for lunch, i'm wondering if they maintain clean restrooms here. Thanks.

There is a decent toilet but dont expect first class facilities as it is an island far from the city.
