We chartered a private van for 7 people 3 months in advance. They were quick and easy to communicate with via e-mail. Our driver, kuya Walter, was professional. He always arrived on time, was courteous, and drove safely. The van is spacious and was still comfortable with our big luggages.

We are a family of 4 (2 adolescent boys), chartered a private van from Puerto Princesa to El Nido, with a side trip to the Underground river in January. From booking to the actual trip, we were provided with excellent service. The Underground River tour was amazing, everything was smooth. We did not have to wait long to tour the Underground River because Kuya Mario took care of everything. After the Underground River, since we had plenty of time to kill because we didn't have to wait long, he suggested to us to try the Ugong Rock Caving Spelunking and Zipline, which all of us enjoyed! Ryan was our driver and was very professional. We felt safe and comfortable with him on the wheel. He was not rushing, he kept saying that we had plenty of time to get to El Nido. Van was clean and well maintained. When we got to El Nido, he could only drop us at the Corong-corong bus station because vans are not allowed to go in, but he tried to ask the person-in charge if they could make the exception for us as we had a lot of luggage. His request was not granted, he felt bad for us. We appreciated it, we knew he wanted to help us. Overall, our experience with Daytripper was beyond excellent. We definitely recommend them. Hope to use their service again soon!

The driver was friendly, polite and drove well. What disappointed us was the fact that we paid 7,700 PHP for private van and the driver declined to take us to our hotel and we had to pay extra 1,000 PHP for that. Also lunch was not included and we had to pay for that ourselves.

After hearing that a lockdown would be taking place, we needed to end our business trip abruptly and we changed our return flights accordingly. Hence we needed a private van last minute and they were quick to accommodate us. Very friendly, professional and spoke english so easy to communicate with. Their vans are spacious and clean altho the drive was quite rough due to the roads in the PH but that's not their fault. Salamat for the professional service.

Before we travelled with Daytripper we used random companys to travel different locations. They all were torture: about 20 people in an van that fitted 12 people. And the ride with those companys were really frightening.

BUT Palawan Daytripper was heaven compared to those other companies. It's true that Daytripper is a little bit more expensive but it's more than worth of that.

Daytripper has a nice way of treating customers also before and after the trip. You get e-mails about your trip and they even call to your hotel before to get in touch with you (even if you have paid the whole trip before hand).

This is a serious company for what I would strongly recommend to everybody to use.

Van was really clean and the seats were comfy. There was enough space for all the luggages. AC working great. Driver was polite and did not horn all the time for no reason. And he was the first driver who didn't bypass other cars in front when there was "continuos line" painted in the road.

What impressed me the most? Was it the rapid email response to each of my queries? Was it allowing to make changes after already booking a trip? Was it the comfortable leather seating? Or the AC in the new van that actually cooled the whole van? Or the on-time pick-up? The friendliness of the driver? Maybe it was all those things put together. Thanks DayTripper.

No question about it, you have to go with Daytripper Palawan if traveling in Palawan. Communication was easy via email or phone call. Payment thru Paypal or credit card made it soooo easy to do business with them. We were a family of 6 and we chartered a private van which included a driver named Alex. From Puerto Princesa to El Nido and back, the trip went flawless. Alex was a true professional and an excellent driver/guide, He accommodated our requests to stop a couple of times and did so gladly. He even asked me if his driving was fine or was he going to fast or too slow. He truly cared for the comfort of his passengers. We will only go with Daytipper Palawan the next time and every time we visit Palawan.

My friend and I recently used DayTripper to go from El Nido to Peurto Princessa and were very happy that we did! Communication leading up to the trip was very professional, with emails confirming the booking, pick up location and time. We paid for the trip in advance, but there is the option to pay on the day making it flexible for travellers.

The mini van was very comfortable with air con working perfectly. There was an information card on the journey (details on where we would stop for lunch/toilet breaks) etc. We even got a bottle of water and a small snack of banana chips which were delicious! Being picked up from our hotel in El Nido, and dropped off at our accommodation in Puerto Princessa made the entire experience easy and we would recommend DayTripper for anyone else who had to make the same journey! Yes it costs more than a regular bus, but it is well worth it!

If you're looking for a way to travel between Puerto Princesa, Sabang and El Nido, look no further as you've found the right company.

Daytripper Palawan runs a daily scheduled luxury shuttle van service between Puerto Princesa and El Nido (Vice Versa) and do private chartered tour to Sabang.

The Good:

1) There vans are much newer and nicer than their competitors.
2) They never over load their van, if its booked full, is full, they won't pick up anyone else.
3) Great On-time performance.
4) Great drivers, in both service standard and driving skills. The driver always have the passengers in mind as his priority.
5) Great ontime performance. Arrive at the hotel to pick us up right on time.
6) Great service all round, the driver offered us to stop by the view deck to take pictures when we're closing in to El Nido, that was a nice touch. And their music selection along the way was of good taste!

The Let-down:

1) it costs php800 for the executive van and php900 for the executive coach, which the coach is way more comfortable with better head room. However their coach only runs every other day on their schedule, I really hope that this can become a daily routine, I would love to pay an extra php100 for that.

2) That's all.

Tips:

1)To book them simply google "daytripper palawan" and book directly on their website. It requires a minimum of 5pax per trip for them to go ahead with the schedule, and they will ask you to settle your payment through paypal prior to departure.

2)If there are less than 5pax but you still want the trip to go ahead, you may buy up extra seats and pay for them. Should there be additional passengers show up last minute to fill up the void, they will refund you those money.

3)There is a 45mins lunch break either in Roxas or Taytay, and bathroom stops in both city too.

4) If you're arriving from Manila and would like to spend a night in Puerto Princesa to avoid night travel through the poorly maintained palawan highway (which is a smart move), I highly recommend the Go Hotel, which is located right next to the biggest mall in Palawan, which Movie Theaters, Department Stores and lots of food options inside.

We booked a one way ride from Puerto Princesa to El Nido with the Daytripper Van. We did some research before hand and were happy to pay a little extra to be met at the airport and dropped off at our hotel. We were met at the airport by our friendly driver, Jovy. He then took us to the van, which is a new 12 seater mini van. On each of our chairs was a brown paper bag filled with the yummiest banana chips, banana and a bottle of water. Our driver navigated his way through the often windy and bumpy roads with care. He made two stops on the way and it took roughly 6 hours to get there. I would highly recommend taking the day tripper. There are other cheaper vans around which you could take, but perhaps safety and service are compromised.
