10 minutes out of town sits beautiful Iwahig River. Hugging the riverbank are the mangrove trees filled with fireflys. Hop into a canoe that is paddled by guide to get up close and personal with nature's light show. There's not a real lot to do...More

To us Filipinos (especially from the rural areas), fireflies are a normal sight so I was not really too excited for this tour. We waited for like 2 hours to get to a boat, making the guests grumpy at the waiting area. After hours of...More

I've been here twice but I still love it. I will still come back with my kids as they liked it too. I am recommending this place and you will surely get enchanted.

I had great experience on this tour. First we were brought to floating restaurant and had really good dinner and live music. Then we switched to a smaller boat and had this fire fly watching tour. For me it was like a Christmas magic :)...More

While the place is a bit far from everything else I believe it’s worth it. The boat guide was knowledgeable and pointed out some of the constellations aside from the fireflies.

It was my first time seeing fireflies and it was truly magical. The place was about 45 minutes from the city. We had a quick dinner upon arrival. It was just alright, don't expect too much. They served local food like: Pancit, Afritada and Adobong...More

It's all worth it! I really enjoyed this experience and will definitely come back with more people! Though I was scared at how deep the water was, the tour guide's soothing voice told me it was nothing to be afraid of.  Eventually, the water itself...More

If you happen to be in Puerto Princesa especially just for a short while (2-3 days), just make sure to see two places: the Underground River and this place, where seeing the fireflies is just magical! It would be very difficult to have this kind...More

It was my 3rd time to experience the firefly watching and it has all been a magical experience! Not only will you see fireflies but bioluminiscent planktons as well! Imagine touching the river and see glow in the dark planktons just like in the movie...More
