This was a stop on our Tour B. We anchored offshore with a couple other boats and dropped in the clear waters and snorkeled for about an hour. The water clarity was good, the fish were plentiful but not too colorful, while the coral was interesting but not outstanding. Still, I have to go with very good since you won’t get to snorkel in waters this nice.

After exploring different parts of beautiful Philippines, I was becoming jaded with beaches, simply because I've seen so many but when I arrived at this particular one, I was in awe. The island itself was a huge rock formation in the middle of the ocean, with beautiful white sand, grass and hovering palm trees everywhere. How does this even happen? The water was extremely clear and the island, in general was not crowded and very relaxing. We arrived here during tour B that you can book in the town of El Nido and it was by far my favorite part of this tour. If I was able to skip all the other destinations and spent more time here, I would. Easily my favorite beach from my whole Philippines trip. Will come again, if I ever come back to this beautiful country.

This tiny towering island is one of the most picturesque in El Nido and throughout the Philippines. It's very beautiful!

We've visited all the tours from A to E, we've rented a private boat around 6K/day so i can have privacy and customized itinerary. The boat rental is excluding the food so you have to ask them to buy fresh seafoods at the market early in the morning and tell them to cook rice in advance. Bring plenty of mineral water, ice and cold drinks and ask them to provide styro box for cooler(please take note that there's no electricity from 6am until 2pm daily). Among all the islands we'd visited this island is one my favorite they said it was filmed in a survivor TV series. Anyways, here's my top of the list of beautiful islands we've visited: Seven Commandos, Helicopter Beach, Pinagbuyutan Island, Entalula Island, Nacpan Beach(for inland tours) and Cadlao Lagoon were my favorites. All the secret beaches, hidden beaches, caves, shrine, snake island, small & big lagoons, simizu island were also beautiful but not as beautiful as the beaches i have mentioned above. Avoid going on a bad weather because the waves are high and you can get cuts by the rocks by entering those caves and hidden beaches.

By far, this island tops all islands we visited in all of Palawan. It is part of the Bacuit Archipelago and is rarely visited by tourists for reasons that puzzle me. I am hoping it continues to appeal less number of people so it stays unspoiled. The spot is a small tropical island boasting a tiny yet mind-blowing beach, not-so-gigantic but uber captivating backdrops, and not-so-vast but lush greenery. This is a perfect spot for bookworms, beach bums, adventurers, peace and quiet seekers and nature lovers.

This is one of the most beautiful spots in the Bacuit Archipelago. The shape of the rock formation is breathtaking. There is plenty of space for lying around, swimming or snorkeling.

I had to see this place after I saw a picture back home in the US. After traveling half way around the world it was just as I had hoped. Jaw dropping. The coconut palms and the nice beach last only a little ways until the massive verticality takes over. If I could make an island, Pinagbuyutan would be it.

A different feel on this island to many of the others. The dramatic rock massif visible from afar is edged by a beautiful grove of coconut palms growing out of a large cropped grass lawn. Not much to do but lay back and enjoy the tranquility or walk on the superfine whte sand beach. A great stop on the lesser known tour B

We hired a private boat so we wouldn't be with the throngs of other tourists on the tiny little islands. We stopped here early and had lunch when no-one else was here. In the afternoon, we drifted to the other side of the island and I fell fast asleep under a tree amongst a cool, tropical breeze. It was pure heaven! When I woke up, boats were pulling in....highly recommended to go at an off time so you can have the place to yourself!
