We trekked for 3 days staying overnight in Cambulo and Batad. Fantastic trek, the rice terraces are really impressive. If you have a problem with heights or balance you may want to choose your route well in advance. Highly recommended.

Honestly, the trek in Batad was the hardest and the most challenging I ever had; one must be physically fit and ready to do this. But of course as the saying goes “Nothing worth having comes easy”. As we arrived the highest point, we were...More

Batad Rice Terraces is definitely a must-see in Banaue. Banaue Rice Terraces is the more famous one, that's even in the P20 (?) bill, but it's not even one of the 5 UNESCO Heritage site. Batad Rice Terraces is one of the 5. One nice...More

amazing view of the UNESCO world heritage sites, easily accessible using affordable tricycles from the town or arranged via the hotel. A trek down into the villages will add into the experience.

Stayed the night in Batad, as opposed to the quick visits that most people do, which gave me a chance to explore more & nicely switch off from city life. Rice terraces are very impressive, would like to have seen them green though, but they...More

Though not as breathtaking as Banaue Rice Terraces, it still is wonderful to behold. The Mountain Province is really amazing and offers jaw dropping landscapes but also boasts of treacherous Racine's and landslide prone areas so driving should be done carefully.

I prefer CODA LINES over Ohayami Bus Co. WHY? CODA LINES has better, newer and cleaner buses. They even have bathrooms, real, clean ones. They leave around 10 PM every night from their Cubao terminal. OHAYAMI seems to have... More
