Beautiful views of the 2000 year old rice terraces. Can spend a good 4 hours hiking the terraces. You can take transport from Banaue.

Wonderful place. Prepare yourself for some hiking to make sure you can explore the rice terrace and go down to the waterfall for a swim. Highly recommended

Amazing landscape especially late afternoon, when it becomes less warm. Just follow the paved path and you won't need any guide to wonder around between the various viewpoints and the Tapya waterfalls.

As in many places the weather has become very unpredictable. But november should be about perfect, mid 20's C. Also in the middle of harvesting season, interseting! .

There is no problem getting a guide for Batad at the spot. You can find one at Banaue Tourist information centre or at your accommodation. Arrangements will take a couple of minutes. The prices are fixed and they are posted... More
