Surprised that they have renovated the place. The shop is more airy, they even have a beehive inspired toilet. It was a big improvement from their old shop. And the prices of their product have remained affordable.

Ilog Maria is a perfect one-stop shop for your need for bee products. We love the products here especially their herbal soaps, mosquito-repellent, healing massage oil, and many more. There's not so much to see here if you are after a tour as bees are on a special bee cages (hives). There's a river here but we haven't got the chance to go down the Ilog Maria. If you are after nature and to buy honey products, this is the place to go.

On the way back from Tagaytay we decided to stop by this honeybee farm for some shopping. Prices there are much cheaper than any retail in Manila. They have a quite decent selection of products. Not sure about the bee farm part, one could see some tings from the shop but we didn't take a closer look.

Its about 3 hours going to their farm hoping that we could get a better price for 5, but you gonna fall into the price of a dollar.

Better buy organic honey right into your next door Mercury Drug Store.

We stopped by this place specifically to buy honey. We also heard they have good lip balms here so I bought their pot of lip balm. I must tell you, this is a saver! My chapped lips healed a few hours after I applied the product. They also have honey based and honey-by products as well. The place is very quiet - a relaxing ambiance for both visitors and bees. The workers there are friendly also, they will give you bee trivia and explain to you the benefits of their products,

Went here to get organic lotions and oils. Best purchase was the natural honey bees wax for the handbags for only 240 pesos. This is really good stuff to maintain my wife signature bags. They also have alligator gars in the pond and a bunch of chickens and geese running all over the place.

The oil that they make at Ilog Maria smells good and we use it to massage our body to relieve us of stress.

They have this tiny bees that are not the common bees that we see and this is where they get their products from.

They sell soaps, honeybee, massage oils and other items.

There's nothing much to see in the place. I'm just so fascinated and curious about their products, gladly, hubby agreed going there when we visited Tagaytay!
The place is not hard to find since there are sign boards. Upon arriving we immediately saw the store. So this is the famous Ilog Maria. We tour the place, saw bunnies in cages not far from a what looked like a covered warehouse. Then we roam around and found bees, stingless bees propolis, they are so small, you cannot really notice it at first. Beyond that, there's nothing more to the place. I don't think that they maintain it properly, because guests just come and go. No security guard, and no friendly staff.
We went to the store and bought we came in for... The Honey mint beeswax lip balm! yey! :) We also bought Sandalwood oil, Honey cider vinegar, Propolis ointment, Propolis & cider liniment, healing massage oil in citrus.
If you will come over, better read reviews first and don't come home empty handed. You'll regret it surely :)

The farm is little more than fowl, dogs, goats, and bees in a meadow but it is a fun spot for a short stop to visit the store and walk around the grounds- 45 minutes at the most. The meadow is pleasant and shady and the store has a great selection of honey-based products like soaps, shampoo, insect repellant, vinegar, and candles. The bathroom is probably the cutest in all of the Philippines- a covered, circular bamboo structure being slowly overtaken by a purple, flowering vine.

We visit twice a year to buy their honey soaps! Out of all the variants, my personal favorite is spearmint and oatmeal!

Tip: Buy the bigger soap size as this comes out cheaper compared to the round ones.
