This beach is unique, there is a hindu temple/pura standing on its cliff, with beautiful sea and the ocean on its background. Better to go there in the morning where there is still quite and you'll get a best photo spot.

I think you better rent a car with the driver from Jogja, because I didn't see any public transportation around Gunung Kidul beaches. I hope this helps. Good luck!
