This is a south gate of Kraton that could be passed by 2 cars. But at the mouth of the gate, only 1 car could pass. So just obey the traffic lights to avoid the jam when passing here

Norboyo Gate is the South gate of the Kraton. It has a stretch of walls on one side where you can actually walk on top.

One of two surviving gates of the Jogja fortress of the 18th century. One can climb up the adjoining steps on to the fortress wall. Just south of Alun-Alun Kidul.

This is one of the city landmarks being the gateway into the Keraton area. There's a long stretch of wall on one side. I can imagine in the olden days, the wall actually stretched and squared around the palace area. It's actually a busy intersection...More

it's a gate I guess. nothing too spectacular. romantic local couples at night. we just walked by on the way to eat. wouldn't call it a landmark though. just a gate...
