Presented so many Affandi's remarkable works. In addition we are well guided by museum guides and get welcome drinks for every visitor. There is a studio for us (For adults and children) to learn to paint. This is a good place for painting lovers.

A great museum of art. Started off quite dark but progressively became less tormented. Informative descriptions in English of each piece of art are available as well as a guided tour for free. The last building (4 total) was really interesting also, to see new...More

Affandi was Affandi, and this museums sole function is to pay homage to him. There was no other like him, he broke all the rules, he engaged with the west, had wild parties, orgies, and painted controversial modern art... above all else he changed the...More

The unusual buildings all housed the famous artist Affandi and his family, some of whom still live on the premises. They, in themselves are well worth a visit. The exhibition is displayed within three buildings and includes works from various members of his extended family,...More

Talking about Affandi, he was one of painting legend in Indonesia. His mastepieces worth a fortune, a lot of fine arts collectors would love to have one. But the museum is far from proper. It could be improved to be a world class destination.

Though I herald reviews, this artist and his complex proved very intriguing. The museum yields insight into Affandi’s style temperament, and approach. The guide at the museum was also good with thoughtful comments about the artist. Free ice cream or a soft drink with your...More

The Affandi museum is interesting enough, but only about half of the paintings are from Affandi himself - the rest is from his family - wives, children, grandchildren. They were ok, but not as interesting as Affandi's own work. The museum is well kept. Close...More

I think you'd better to send an e-mail to the said museum to see whether the guide you requested is available or not.
